For some odd reason, none of the entries I posted today is going up. Unless it'll come up later and you'll get tons of it.
A few of my entries below talks about some so called "monopoly" money. That's all it is. Fake, scam, balogney.
So, if you see that, don't fall for it as I have. Talk about waste of time.

Children's Update 2

The first picture is of Ibrahim when he was a year and a half years old. The 2nd picture is of Isa when he was about 6 months old. The 3rd is a picture of Daliyah when she's a year old.
Comparing the photos I can see the strong resemblances.
In a short bit, I'll be posting up newer pictures just from this past month of the children.
I'll also post up some really nice videos of their adventures.
Their latest activities to do is getting all the furashes (floor sofas) and the cushions that goes with it and building a fort or fortress out of it. They'll pile them on top of each other or in a row like a bridge and crawl underneath it. Usually I'll let them leave it like that for a few days and if friends are dropping by, bye bye goes those and up for a new one.
Kids keep themselves busy with things rather than being bored so easily. Kids these days, most of them get bored so easily even the ones that are online. I tell these people, you're on the internet and how can you possibly be bored when you have the search engine at your fingertips. You have a million things to do, read about, search about and learn so much more. Why complain that you're bored? Do you seriously need a guide, a step by step instructions on how to keep yourself busy and amuse your time?
If the internet tool is not helping you at all from getting unbored, perhaps you should get off the internet and take a walk, or visit some friends offline. If that doesn't boost you, you need to prioritize your time, or just re-think of changing your life style. It's impossible to get bored if you have internet access and it's all within your reach. I can understand if your internet is down or not working then ok, fine, be bored but, even then there are still a million things you can do offline such as play a board game, fly a kite, ride a bike, rollerblade, take a jog, get a job, take care of loved ones, learn to bake and cook, try something new and adventureous.
Live, learn, laugh, cry, these are the things that are told to us and these are the things we tell our children to do. Experience, experiment. Kids love that. So go out and blow bubbles, jump in the rain, jump in the puddles.
The other day as we were at the children's museum, my husband and my children got to one of the displays that shows an "On Air" as you would present the news. They got on and did the "meditation yoga" for some spiritual upliftment while doing the weather report. I'm sure people will get a kick out of that one, if not, then Iby and Isa's silly faces on the screen.
Ok that's it for now.
Children's Update

These pictures above were taken in 2006.
The first picture was taken in Dec 2006, almost a year ago. Isa had just turned 5 and Ibrahim was 8 going on 9. It was taken in Amman, Jordan and we were showing off our older son's school uniform.
The 2nd picture was taken in early Spring 2006, right before our move to Amman, Jordan. Even the 3rd picture was taken around then. That's them when they're getting along with each other and showing how loving they can be towards each other.
But, then there are other times when they're not so civil to each other. Those pictures though have to wait. Whenever we try to get the pictures, they pretend they're getting along for sake of saving themselves from "internet" embarassment.
New Pictures Equal New Adventures

Have you ever heard of the saying, "New Pictures Equal New Adventures?" Well, especially living here in Amman, Jordan the kids will have and has had a whole new set of adventures one after another that I'll try to remember and jot them all down.
Right now though, Ibrahim my oldest is now 9 1/2 years old. My 2nd son Isa is almost 6. He'll be 6 in a month insha'Allah. My daughter Daliyah is almost 2 years old.
The pictures above are of Daliyah the new addition. Those were taken shortly a month to a few months after she was born in Jan 2006.
I'll post more pictures in the next post and so forth so this doesn't get too crowded.

This is Ibrahim rock climbing, at the Science Museum. We took the kids there on Saturday. It was cool, though the IMAX was a real killer, pain in the neck, and head...

This is Ibrahim, He's been eating a lot lately masha'Allah. If my mom could see him now she would say wow!

This is Ibrahim's Spelling Bee 2nd Place Ribbon award. He was very happy and we are very proud of his job well done. :)

This is Ibrahim's Spelling Bee Contest. He was in the 1st group, which was 5, and 6 years olds. There were 4 kids participating in that and Ibrahim took 2nd place.

This is Ibrahim at Great Adventure Six Flags on a car ride with his friend Shu'ayb, who is around Isa's age. Isa was asleep at this time so was unable to pose. This was taken on Sept 17,2004.

Here are Ibrahim and Isa both getting ready to batter up in playing baseball. They both seem to love to pose and play, not play and pose.

This is Ibrahim wrapped under some paper pretending to be a mummy for his History project. He seemed to love it.

Ibrahim's spelling bee contest is coming up this saturday and he has over 40 words to go through, he has gotten through almost half of them but im trying to find ways to get him to remember these simple words. I was able to prove to him that i could spell the words so easily yet he had a hard time mustering up the words and sounding out the letters to what his words were.
So we made up a game out of it, a board game which took several hours to bring up. Alhamduilllah the game is done and i'll put up a picture soon to let you know how it goes and whether or not this will work or not.
we'll see insha'Allah

bumper boats, where's my coat?
I woke up, when Isa came into my room. He patted my face, as he told me he loved me, and told me to wake up as he was hungry.
Glancing at the clock it read 9am and I groaned as i pretended I was still sleeping. Yet he pulled at my ears, and my arm and said, "come on, get up."
So i said, "ok, ok just give me a minute."
He said, "grab your glasses up there," pointing to the top shelf where my glasses laid and I said, "it's not necessary" as I went downstairs.
Grabbing a cereal bowl, and some cereal in it with milk, and also some chocolate milk into his cup, then bringing it back upstairs. I put a mat on the floor and told him here eat up as i laid down to sleep.
Within minutes though I was fast asleep, i didn't wake up again until Isa woke me up again to tell me he was finished and needed a diaper change. So I woke up and made sure his bowl was empty and went to examine the whole house to make sure he didn't throw his food away anywhere and didn't see it.
I even went as far as to checking all the rooms, including bathrooms to check and even downstairs and coast looked like it was clear. So then I went back up and changed his diaper. then i checked the clock it was only 10am. so as I was laying down, Isa layed next to me as he started talking to me, I understood little bits and parts of what he was saying but the rest
I didn't understand though I pretended I did just so his feelings wouldn't get hurt because he's extra sensitive, subhan'Allah just telling him one thing will get him to go to his room to cry. Well we were playing ball, and having some fun and it was just cool, that he was once so young and could barely move and here he was talking to me and I totally understood what he was saying and doing and I knew when he was trying to be sneaky.
I just knew and it was because i was once that way or at least from what I remember myself as and I thank my parents for having patience to put up with me and still do :)After awhile we went bumper boats with my husband Abdullah and my older son Ibrahim,it was an alright day... a little sunshine in the sky and a little bit of wind.there was a huge crowd at the place where it was, a party going on, and a lot of people playing golf and minature golf. There was only a few handful of people playing go karts and bumper boats so when we went there it wasn't that crowded.
IT was hilarious and fun...though I was bumped right under the waterfall.... as I got totally drenched in, i couldnt move to get out or get away as I stood under the waterfall for at least 30 seconds to a minute before i figured out how to get out. We were able to be on the bumper boats for at least 30 mins or so because there was no one there, though right before we were getting off some other people started showing up so the guy let us stay on for another 15 mins longer and i was like wow this is a good prize 5 dollars for a 45 min ride...masha'Allah....
Ibrahim had his very own bumper boat, and Abdullah was in another with Isa and then I was alone in one. Perhaps I should have taken Isa with me, and if I did i don't think i would have stood under the waterfall for that long. SubhanAllah if Isa was not with his father i would have pushed him too but my husband didn't think so and I said he's a little kid, he didn't do anything except be there with you, and wouldn't want him to go through that.
Isa though did not like the bumper boats, perhaps he was just in one of those cranky moods, or whatever, but he was basically crying every time he got squirted with the water and i told my husband let him try to squirt us and we'll try to di rect the squiring just at you and not at him and as i kept getting my husband i would apologize to Isa saying sorry baby it's for your baba not you..... its just water..wheee..lol..
then the guy called us and off we went.so then we went on the go karts as then i realized it hit me.. i was freezing cold...i was totally drenched as I stood up the water was draining away from me, my clothes were all stuck to me and these were very modest and loose clothes.
I felt as if my hijab was glued to my head, and we did 5 laps of the go karts and that was good though the gas fumes made me feel ill.then we went to a restaurant called Friendly's while we ate some mozerella sticks and french fries, and i had a hot chocolate... then we had some ice cream..... despite that i was cold, freezing cold, i ended up getting an apple pie ala mode, and my hubby got a mud pie mode.
It was good but very cold and as I left i went to the grocery store and did my thing.then came out and went home and well I put away all the groceries, and then i came here...:)my kids are settled on down.... asleep....and where am i? here...where else would i be?
